daylily will bloom in shade.  Nocturnalness does.  You can find nocturnal
daylilies in every price range.  A nocturnal daylily starts opening the
night before.  Diurnal daylilies start opening in the morning.  Both will
have blooms that are open all day.  Diurnal daylilies planted in shade will
lean towards the light.  Nocturnals don't unless it is just too shady.  Of
course, it certainly is not necessary to spend big bucks to have beautiful
daylilies.
