Re: Hostas for pots?
Hello Louise,
We have quite a few Hosta in large and medium sized pots around here. Quite
often when we purchase a hosta it is not all that big, so we use it in an
arrangement with other plants, both annuals, bulbs and perennials. Just whatever
strikes our fancy. The pots are moved around to where we need them. On the front
porch, the side deck, meditation patio, around the parking area, etc. When the
season is over we place them on a dolly and place them in a protected area with
bales of straw around them. About time to begin moving everything back out once
more.
Try a large lustrous green and white hosta with the "Blackie" sweet potato
vine that is popular... or was last year at all the annual sales.
