very much) and put me in the position of having to contact Rick and order some of
these. Can't resist summer and fall blooming gentiana...... do not know where they
will go, but I will find a place. The short description is of a keeper.

I just checked my notes on G. hexafarii (the name on the slide list), but
unfortunately, I didn't write down anything about that one. I did note that
Gentiana acaulis 'Ranoch' forms colonies, though, and that I want it! Do you have
that one too and do you like it?
In Rice Creek's catalog there is G. hexafarreri hyb: trumpets in shades of blue,
tightly curled folliage. 4" x 6". $6.50. Do you suppose that's the same plant or
a hybrid of G. hexafarii?
