Milky Spore question

Hi, has anyone used Milky Spore for grubs? Part of our lawn (and hosta
garden) are riddled with mole tunnels, and presumably we have to thank
Japanese Beetle grubs for that situation. Using a regular poison would, as
I understand it, also kill earthworms and other desirable creatures; I
read that milky spore will take care of the grub problem for up to 15
years. This sounds too good to be true, and it is expensive as well. But
if it works, I would be thrilled. Look forward to hearing from those who
have tried it.
