I thought river birch were resistant to the birch borer, and that only the
silver birch was affected. Am I incorrect? I too love river birch and keep
meaning to put some in (where, is the question). Incidentally, I looked up
'Little King' in Dirr's HARDY TREES AND SHRUBS, and there is no mention of
it. I think the only River Birch CV in there is 'Heritage'.
