Re: [SG] Rhododendrons

I don't grow rhododendrons, but this seems like a nice short list of
shade-friendly ones.

Hi. Does anyone know of a rhodie that will bloom in pretty serious shade? In
this spot (in NYC, zone 6)epimediums, brunnera, kirengeshoma, corydalis and
tiarella all do well, but not a mountain laurel, which I would like to
replace with another potentially flowering evergreen shrub. If need be I'll
get a Mahonia aquifolium, but they're kind of expensive and hard to find in
nurseries around here.
Thanks,
Nancy S.
