If you have a child you're responsible for what it does, if you have a
dog you're responsible for what it does. It's 'natural' for dogs to bite
and for kids to get into things. That doesn't change your
responsibility.

I love my cats, but I feed them which makes them strong, give
them shots to keep them healthy and keep them warm so that
they don't get weakened by the severe weather outside. After
having done all that how 'natural' is their advantage over the critters
in the environment?

All that aside, keep your cats inside where neighbors are close OR
get an invisible fence would be my suggestion.
