Sounds like the perfect place to me. I am assuming your shade is from
deciduous trees? That is the home of most Trilliums, so any species should work
for you. Just a matter of whether you want tall ones, short ones, white or pink or
chocolate-red blooms.
Since these are gone and dormant above ground by July or so, do consider
companion plants that stick around until frost. Ferns, Uvularia, Asarum,Gillenia,
Iris cristata, etc.
