I have three old rhododendrons that are blooming profusely but six in the
same area that I planted last year that have nary a bloom. Last year they
bloomed like crazy and I did remove the spent blossoms. I talked with a
nurseryman that I respect about it and he recommended HollyTone. He also
said that it's important not to let them suffer water stress in July since
that's when they're setting next year's bloom, at least here in
Tennessee. I'm looking at drip system now.
