Thanks very much Diana,
I would add that I have received graphic files from artist friends and
realised that an image directed into your own personal mailbox can have such
a powerful emotional impact that it could be wise only to view a file from a
known and trusted sender.
One day I was spammed with an image from a stranger. I can't prove that I
deleted pornographic harassment, because I didn't look, but if I did, I am
really glad that I established my own guidelines before it happened.

We get told not to worry about it. Well, I beg to differ tonight. My son
just had over 80 viruses copied to his harddrive in seconds by a email
attachment from a total stranger. He opened it thinking it was legitimate.

person who send you an .exe file attachment before risking opening it and
having this happen to you. My son will be spending an all-niter redoing his
computer and redoing 7 hours of work on a major science project due early
this week. This means I have to put up with his complaints, etc.
