Re: roses by mail


Marge and Kay,

I am not an expert on roses, but another well-regarded nursery (at least
it used to be) is Roses of Yesterday and Today, in Watsonville, CA. They
probably have most of the rugosas (they have Frau Dagmar Hastrup for
sure), and the good thing about this nursery for those of us in the
Midwest is that they sell bare root, so you aren't paying for a pot of
soil. (That IS a good thing, right?) But I have no personal experience
ordering from them.
