Re: Lamium

Sorry this is so late, Nancy. I have had great success with mine. It
grows well in my containers over the summer and then when it starts to
cool down at night around the end of August, I transplant it into the part
shade hosta garden and it comes through the winter wonderfully, The one I
can't keep alive is the green with gold centre (can't remember the variety
name). It dies on me every time.

Has anyone ever had any luck with yellow-leaved Lamium maculatum? Mine have
always died for some reason (unlike the regular sort that spread and bloom
on and on). Any species that are tougher than others? Any special cultural
instructions?
Thanks,
