Kaye,
Fine Gardening just arrived and it has an article by Colston Burrell on
Fantastic Ferns. The Himalayan maidenhair is one of the featured ferns.
Cool! What do you have as a companion plant(s)?

Have you tried the
Himalayan maidenhair as yet? Adiantum venustum resembles our maidenhair,
only is a groundcover reaching only 8 inches or so in height. Kind of like
our maidenhair without the stems...
Himalayan fern is to die for! I love this fern. If I could only have
one,
this would be it. I was so lucky to buy a large clump from a friend who
was
selling her house and moving on the road. It is about a 21/2 feet in
diameter
clump and looks stunning. I have had it a year now, so feel pretty
comfortable
that it is happy.
