Dear Marge,
That is a very misleading statement from one who is an expert, as you are.
Carexes(sedges), rushes and bamboos are NOT grasses. Did you mean to write
(all "grass-like" plants)? As horticulturists, do you not think it would be
better if we were more precise in our terminology?
