Hello Brad,
Fifty by thirty is not all that small when one takes a shovel in hand to
dig. Darn good size in fact. I can not actually see your place, but sure
can imagine a room somewhere in the plot with a bench to sit and just be in
the garden. Perhaps one formed by various sizes and kinds of shrubs that
bloom and/or give off scent. A path that winds through much of the area so
you can only get to the room indirectly but viewing the rest of the garden
you create. Smaller points of interest created with your favorite flowers
or garden sculpture placed at turning points or dead ends in the paths.
Please be sure and take photos of before, during and after. Lots of them.
Mostly for yourself, but perhaps to share with us.
