About air layering plants
Hello everyone - When you air layer your plants - do you wound or partially
cut the branch before air layering it?
On several occasions I have grafted several different species of pear into a
10 foot pear tree, in the upper branches. After I grafted, I used the same
procedure as air layering - with the peat moss & plastic bag over the graft.
I never had a failer using this method with pear trees - for the graft to
take.
I tried using this same method grafting citrus in the upper branches, but
had no success. Cajun
