I've air layered mine, just below the leaves since all the bottom leaves
had dropped off (usually lack of moisture) leaving a bare stem. Did
great, and continued to grow until one very cold winter day, and the heat
went off in the house, killing all the house plants in the green house
part of the house except for a few hardy ones. Air layering takes a long
time, but is does work.
