I'd define "modern" as the horizontal form as opposed to the vertical
presentation of the species types. Would love to hear how the rest of you
define it.

SEA SHADOWS (ok, this one's an oldie but it looks modern)
Now, if you'd like some recommendations for the "older" pendant forms....
