Regarding mentioning names of specific cultivars, it seems to me that it makes all the difference in the world HOW one says these things rather than whether one says them. Said (written) in the right spirit, the information can be very helpful to other would-be growers. One can speak the truth in a nice way, not a mean or spiteful way, and that lets others know certain facts. If I see that a particular cultivar is hard to grow in my region or climatic area, I can take up the challenge or leave it as I prefer. It is not the truth of one's experience that should not be published, but harsh words that hurt have no place.

P.S. I hope to meet many of you at the Siberian convention coming up in June in eastern Iowa, opposite end of the state from me. Lynn Stoll spoke at our club last month, and it sounds as if things are developing very well.
