Well this year it's my turn. I've never had the blasted beasties though
I think I remember Jan and Marty bemoaning great loses one year. Since,
because of a family emergency, I'd done about half of my normal fall
clean up and cut down, the first handful of siberian foliage that came
up in my hands last week I assumed was just some clean up I didn't put
in the wheelbarrow in November, but the same situation on the other
side of the rock, with open tunnel and missing plant opened my eyes. So
far I've found all newly divided plants completely gone, including Bee
Warburton's lovely Deep Shade, and some big oldies significantly reduced
in size. Yesterday I found the tunnel completely around Temper Tantrum,
which I had trimmed back, but the plant seems untouched! Hmmmm. Do I
draw any conclusions?
Okay, so what do you do about the creatures. The cat was in the house
all last fall, again because of said emergency. Could that be the
reason I have the dreaded things?
