spuria iris hybrids

Hello members,
I know this list is concerned mainly with siberian irises, but does
anyone know of a good book on the spuria irises? I have some seeds from
a spuria called 'Sunny Day' which I would like to germinate and grow on
to see if anything worth while turns up. Any help with the book or
germination of these seeds would be greatly appreciated.
