I definitely vote for a regional poll. I would look at the results for all
regions, but I would carefully consider my own geographical region's results.
Although...I don't know how many Siberian iris growers there are in the Rocky
Mtn/High Plains region. I've been trying to convert Colorado irisarians to
the joys of Siberian irises, but I'm facing an uphill battle, and the drought
our state is suffering certainly isn't helping matters.
I just hope my Siberians, indeed, *all* of my perennials survive the winter.
Until last weekend's snow, most of my plants didn't have appreciable moisture
since November. I have tried to water, but winter watering is a difficult
thing to do. This year, catalogs are just a flight of fancy.
