Since "Sibtosa" is already understood and accepted as the name for these
crosses and Siberian X setosa is the more common, it doesn't really make
sense to cloud the issue with any other name regardless of the direction of
the cross.
Personally, I've already made plans to cross the plants from the
Setosa-Siberian group with the Siberian-Setosa groups in hopes of balancing
the visible features of the plants and retaining fertility. Past the first
generation, things could get confusing quickly even without figuring in
backcrosses to the parent species. :-)
It might be easier to come up with a name for the 40-chrom group. Most
people think of the 28-chrom bunch when Siberians are mentioned. I do agree
that they are separate classes.
