Re: sibtosa or setsib

Christy,

If the term "sibtosa" is already accepted as that one for setsibs too,
it's O. K. I just wanted to know it but didn't suggest another
version on that score. Having no comments from other irisarians,
I can only hope it's "officially" accepted or at least everybody agree
with it.
Could anybody let me know, please, who must deside (approve)
such a things in the AIS - Board of Directors, Section (Cooperating
Sosiety) itself, concrete AIS officer...? I think it's always useful to use
the same terms among participants of some system - to avoid confusion.
It also concerns to classification, award system etc. Say, I can't
understand the situation when I read in Handbook for Judges... that
40- chrom group (sino-siberians) belongs to SIB class and - find
information in the AIS Bulletin that DOTTED LINE (sino-sib, according
to '99 Iris Check List) receives Medal for SPEC class. I have more
enough that kind of disparity examples in the irisdom.and I don't think it's
good for the iris world.
I was told (I don't know if it's true or not) that Tom Abrego raised
a question about separation sino-siberians from the SIB class but,
unfortunately, I know nothing about the results of this initiative. As for
me, I intuitively feel that this suggestion is right and should be realised.

Sergey
