Hi Jeff, yes, we've seen this pattern. Not on Last Act, but on Banish
Misfortune and a seedling. The ground color of Banish was yellow not white
and it was only on half of one fall. The seedling was usually medium
blue-purple but all of the flowers on one stem were entirely splash-patterned
with pale ground color and flecks and dots of darker color. I did some
crossing onto it but nothing took and we threw out the plant. No idea what
causes it. I imagine that something is blocked toward the center of the
flower and no color is expressed beyond the block. Marty
