Hello,
Three weeks after the TSI was supposed to be in our mailboxes no
sign of it. I sent an e-mail to the person overseeing this issue
on Monday morning. She sent a one-liner saying it was "sent".
I sent one more e-mail saying that "I was not feeling good about
this at all" and no response. Frankly, I am in a controlled
state of fury. Is there such a thing? I don't know what the
problem was and I asked Chris Goodmiller (our liaison) and she
never answered me. So I sent another longer e-mail on Tuesday
afternoon and no answer.
I do not want to call them because there is nothing that I can
do except get angry on the phone which I am loathe to do but I
think they should either: 1) have to wait for their check 2)
they should knock some $$ off their bill. I just want to know
(and so does the membership) want the heck happened.
I am holding off telling them we have a new printer for the next
issue until they submit their bill. It better not get delivered
before the TSI arrives.

Convention photos - a friend of mine sent me a forwarded message
that appeared on iris-talk and it was subject lined: AIS:
convention photos. I looked at them and they sure were
convention photos (albeit not the gardens/irises) and I just
sent them along thinking that folks would enjoy them.
The pic of Carol in her garden with her iris umbrella is a
keeper and I am writing to Rick Tasco today with my order so I
will ask him if he will be sending any more pix. I know he took
his new super-duper digital camera to the gardens and maybe he
will send them to me and I will post them to Sibrob. Rick owns
Superstition Gardens in CA and is a bearded type - not
literally. :) He is a great guy with great irises.

'Little Blue Sparkler' is in bloom before its sibling 'Snow
Prince'. Having a lot of MTB, IB and still SDB and MDB in bloom.
Having fun and having sore muscles pulling out weeds that
stretch all the way to China.
Cheers,
Ellen
