Here in Zone 3, it hasn't begun except for I. typhifolia who shows no sign of stopping.
Maybe it is not considered a worthy specimen for the garden but I like it. Blooming near
'Ozark Dream' (MTB) and they compliment one another.
Many Sibs in colored bud and some in green bud...hurry up and bloom. Weather is cold here
so the medians look lovely. Lilacs still (forever ?) in bloom. Even have some tulips
hanging on. Only one tall bearded in bloom still and one historic, 'Mrs. Horace
Darwin'..now at least women have their own names in the garden. ;-)
