But Al, just remember that whatever grows from the seeds is a new plant, not a reproduction of the original.  Almost everything we grow, unless it's a species iris, is a hybrid, and hybrids don't reproduce true from seed.  So if you want more of, say, Temper Tantrum or Coronation Anthem or whatever, you have to divide the original, not just save and plant the seeds.  Sorry if I'm just belaboring the obvious and telling you something you already know.  Your original post sounded as if you wanted more of the original plant and hoped to get it by planting seeds of same.  Sorry if I misunderstood; not trying to insult your intelligence.
