Someone asked for a short siberian. Come take a walk through my garden this
spring! Only two Siberians grew to registered height: SHAKER'S PRAYRER and
SHIRLEY POPE. This year, my yard is filled with 'dwarf' siberians. Some
examples:

CHEERY LYN reg height 37", in my garden: 14"
COUNTESS CATHLEEN reg height 30", in my garden: 14"
EVER AGAIN 40", in my garden: 24"
EWEN 32", in my garden: 16"
HARPSWELL SNOWBURST 36", in my garden: 18"
HIGH STANDARDS 44", in my garden: 24" !!!
LAKE KEUKA 31", in my garden: 13" !!
SNOW PRINCE 34", in my garden: 18"
SPIRIT OF YORK 36", in my garden: 18"
STRAWBERRY FAIR 29", in my garden: 13"

EWEN and STRAWBERRY FAIR have never grown close to their registered heights
in my garden. As for the rest of the plants, it must be the drought and the
early heat. At the very least, the plants are blooming, even if they are
blooming short. Have talked to others who grow siberians in the
Denver/Colorado Springs area and their plants are short too, but probably not
as short as mine.
