Well, for my money it would be DEMURE ILLINI. It grew close to registered
height for me (33 inches in my garden) and made a large clump. I pulled 35
bloomstalks out this evening and the clump is 4 years old. That's pretty good
for my arid climate. Also the stalks had two branches and triple socketed
terminals. The clump bloomed from 5/29/02 to 6/17/02. The color is a grape
red with a striking white ray pattern. Also, it repeats consistently for me
as well!
Another recommendation is LINDA MARY. My 6 yr old clump produced 45
bloomstalks. Each stock had one branch and some terminals had three buds.
This clump bloomed from 5/22/02 to 6/13/02. The flower is grape purple with a
small white halo.
