Laurie,
We had a similar problem early in the season when we had a few SI in bloom.
I haven't noticed it in the past week. We found two green caterpillar about
1.5"-2" long in two different buds on two different days. Dick Fulsom from
the Dept of Agriculture is scheduled to visit our garden this week and he
hopes to be able to identify it.
