Response to germination method for wide crosses.
I think that the procedure Dr. Tamberg is recommending is called embryo
culture. Embryo culture is used on difficult to germinate seeds such as
arilbred seeds and wide crosses of almost any kind. If you can not find
adequate detailed information about embryo culture on the net and are
willing to call California, Barbara Whitely in Concord has done embryo
culture in the past and would probably be willing to share her knowledge. If
you are interested, contact me privately and I will send you her telephone
number.
