Good to hear from you. Thanks for your comments on the "snaky stalks". I
agree with you on most points, but I also agree it would be interesting
to follow a particular clone or clones to see if they are predisposed to
this condition. I think you may be on to something when you say that it
is somehow connected to vigorous growth either in the previous season or
perhaps in the season when the flower stalk is emerging. Time and more
observation will tell more of the story. Happy Gardening, Jim.
