AZ AP (IB) was hybridized by Allan Ensminger of Nebraska who
is the broken-color granddaddy...even tho the Median checklist
says AZ AP is "gentian blue" - at least one of its ancestors
was Jungle Shadows which is blooming in my garden right now.
J.S. is a wonderful mottled (broken-color) greyish brownish
bluish, etc. Streaks all over the place....you never know
how these things will look from year to year.
