Hi Duane,
What USDA Zone are you in?
I had just the early unknown species-like sib bloom a couple of weeks ago,
and slowly things are starting.
Today, 'Chilled Wine' 'Peg Edwards'and 'Seaturn' are opening. I have
noticed, though, that the clumps of my sibs, except for my 'early one' are
slightly smaller than last year. The flowers, on the other hand seem larger!
Does anyone know what the size of a sib flower should be? I guess I should
narrow that down to what the size of 'Peg Edwards' should be?
The first bloom, which just opened is 5.75" wide!
I just went out and measured 'Chilled Wine" it is 4.75" and my species like
un-known (posted on iris-photo) is only 3.5".

It looks as though, if we manage a day or two of sunlight, that Gatineau,
Silver Edge and Caesar's Brother will bloom in the next day or two,
probably in that order.
This is my first year with Siberians and I was beginning to have serious
doubts that our weather would let them bloom. However, I did speak with a
fellow in Northwestern Washington state on 6/22 and he said he was having
the same delayed bloom. <snip>
