Planting time

Hello sibrob members,
today I like to share my observations on result of planting time for
siberians. Last year I had three parcels from different donors. One
came in begin of August, next in middle of August and last end of
August or begin of September. This spring the best growth is on the
plants received first, some less on plants received middle and still
less on plants received last. All divisions were of good quality.
results of this observation allow to do conclusion, that sale gardens
need to correct shipping time for northern ares as easy as possible,
the best in end of July or begin of August to be plants established
the best.
I had parcel from Aitken's with JI in mid of July and the plants after
planting have grown so strong like they were planted in spring and growth now
in spring is very good.
