Hello,
The National starts next week and hopefully we will get to see
some blooming Siberians this year since some of the gardens on
tour are known for their beardless collections. Draycott (Carol
Warner's), Sans Souci (Bruce Hornstein), etc. There will be a
contingent of Sibrob members at the convention and will surely
will bump into each other. If you are going, make sure to attend
the Siberian board meeting and the general Siberian section
meeting.
Tues., May 22nd: 4-6 PM = Society for Siberian Irises Board Mtg.
Wed., May 23rd: 3-4:30 PM = Society for Siberian Irises
The 10 gardens on tour are:

Does anyone have an up-to-date e-mail address for Joe and Maggie
Griner? The one I had at msn.com had my mail returned. They are
not members of any iris mailing list that I belong to and e-mail
searches turned up nothing. I would like to contact them before
the convention.
Do Tom and Ellen Abrego ever check their e-mail? I don't want
to have to call them in Oregon.

The so-called spring issue of 'The Siberian Iris' should be in
the mail now but don't hold your collective breath. I aimed for
delivery before the Convention but alas, it probably won't
happen. Hopefully, the locals in the convention area will
receive them during the convention. PLEASE bring your copy to
the convention so I can see it. :)
It is a long (in pages) issue but has 14 colored photos. I did
attempt to change the cover color but it had already been done
so it is NOT soft orange (my term). Any problems with TSI mail
them to me privately....be kind, this was my first issue. :)
