Re: Chris, your images - digital photo or scan?

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your explanation. I have been seriously thinking of
getting a digital camera myself. We have one at work, a high end Sony
(not sure of the model #) but they paid $1600 CDN for it. It has a
nice zoom feature, light in weight, and was very easy to operate. I
had it for a weekend and was really impressed, although I think I
would like to see a larger memory stick in it. (which are available,
apparently).

It's just hard for me to give up my old Minolta - just habit I
guess. :)

Speaking of PhotoShop, I had a wonderful oportunity this summer to
attend a powerusers training session in Rochester New York at R.I.T.
If you ever want to go get the best PhotoShop training from the
original gurus, go there. I learned more in 3 days with Patti and Ed
than any of the advanced PhotoShop courses I have taken locally put
together. These people are beta testers for Adobe products and give
seminars at Seibold and the like. They were just awesome! Rochester
is not too far from where you live, eh? From Alberta, it's a bit of a
hike to say the least.
