I am in California, zone 9. Some Siberians do well here, others die
quickly, some die slowly. I have a list of what I have planted and what
happened to it. I can email that to anyone interested. (I have already done
this past season when a similar question was asked.) My three best right now
are Caesar's Brother, Tropic Night and Strawberry Fair.
(I am assuming start equals seedling.) I would guess that you could easily
transplant by moving soil and start. You might even be able to move only the
start but that is riskier. If start doesn't equal seedling, then you are
talking about dividing the clump, you are a little late to divide. If
weather holds without freezing, you could get by with dividing. If not, you
could lose some of the divisions.

Have a few nice clumps, but many more small starters. Questions: Can I move
these small clumps now if I can did the whole shootin' match? I'm still
unfrosted, and ground almost never freezes here. Is Zone 8a a little on the
warm side for most sibs?
