Ensata Gds plant theirs in flats in basement under lights about 1' above 
foliage and mow them like grass and they bloom in 2 years from seed rather 
than 3. Their method is describved in The Review and also TSI I think. Anna 
Mae Miller. Sounds like you might have some good crosses there but think it 
takes another generation to get improvement.
