Re: my first SA seedling :)

Congrats on your first SA seedling, love those marbled horns !  
Hookem has never produced horns for me here so I never bothered using 
the pollen for crosses.  

I hope some of my SA seedlings will finally produce horns for me this 
year.  I worked hard to improve the growing conditions last year, if 
anything, I feel I made the beds a tad too rich because there was 
some rot which is something I rarely see in these parts.  Last year, 
my blooms either had no appendages or rotted on the spathe.  It was 
VERY discouraging !  5 years is a long time to wait to see seedlings 
bloom ;-0  I expect to acheive my goal this season.
