Will,

I don't know what they are but I have problems with them as well.  They
burrow into the spathes and destroy the flower before it blooms.  In a
best case scenario, they just destroy the pollen and stigmas.

I'm banking on Cygon 2E to take care of this...(fingers crossed)

Did I mention that Daylilies are easier to grow here ;-)
