Hi Chris,
It's hard to set pods on, or get pollen from flats. Most of the seedlings from flat crosses aren't flat. We had one that produced about 25% flats but that was highly unusual.
attached is indigo princess by six pack (one of the 25% in that productive cross)
sorry I can't find the large flounced pic.

Good morning,
I've had SIX PACK for 3 years, still hasn't bloomed for me. I'm
going to sit down with it over a hot cup of Miracle Grow and see if I
can find out what the problem is.
Mike and George have played with SA flaties, Can you post some
seedling photos Mike ? Also Mike, years ago you posted a seedling
that had flounces the size of standards. Do you still have that
photo ?
When using a flat Iris as a parent, what is the typical ratio of flat
offspring ? I some how think they're pretty hard to come by but I
don't really know. Anybody know ?
Have a good day,
Chris
