Seems I've posted this before. Things I like I do twice.

As a point in passing, by the time we have reached any conclusion with SAGE the what's darlin' market may well have flip flopped. For now, a modern iris is pretty much a frilly, randomly ruffled, squat block shape with open standards. This will not likely always be.

I've come to like more what I see as grace with quiet gentle elegance in blooms over this past season. Perhaps because so many squat blocks are now available. I like gently arced standards, somewhat tall relative to the falls but the proportions of the standards to the falls not so very important (this way I can continue to enjoy aril bloom forms). Also, I like the standards closed or nearly closed at the top. I like frills but mostly as lace that does not over power the bloom or intrude on the bloom form. Too I like frills as gentle ruffles or both combined but they must live within the constraint of not over powering the bloom form. I like 'em kinda stripped down. I like big one and small ones if they meet the constraints my mind sets, changes, and swaps about. I feel ans much as define what I like. I like preciseness in _expression_ of features but also like impressions of wild, free and uncontrolled. Too, I guess I also like the ones that are best described more or less as aerodynamic.

Thinkin' some more it becomes evident these are traits that for years I looked for in women. Now I find out I've been all wrong and was really lookin' for irises.<Laughin'>
