Christi, the only methods I know for controling the borers is with chemicals and I try to stay away from them. So far I hae never had a problem with this pest. Anyone out there know of an organic method of control? The squash I was refering to was a spaghetti squash, even though I have both summer squash and zucchinis started, they are not at the flowering stage yet.
