That is a great book. Since we have lot of space, we use the wide-row method
, but I like the concepts and ideas of the sq. ft. garden. Saves seeds and
space, and nicely organized. that book is often found at bookstores.

There's a book called "The Square Foot Gardening" by Mel Bartholomew. It's
approach is to do just that, plant exactly what you need in the space;
rather than doing the thinning thing; as it saves time. I've been using
this technique for two years now, and it really works well. It saved me
time (knowing how many and where to plant) and the garden yields increased
since I didn't "cram" too much together.
Rene.
