You can get it to grow by sticking 3 toothpicks into the sides, and putting
the pointy end down into a glass of water like one would do with a yam. Put
it in a sunny window. Eventually you can transplant it into soil, but if you
wish it to bear fruit, you will have to have it grafted. That might be
jumping the gun however.
