Hi, Mike. I also can never get good germination from eggplant seeds,
though I have no problems with tomatoes, peppers, and other relatives.
Does anyone know the trick to it? I have used treated and untreated seed,
with the same poor results.
Re: ducks in the garden - on another chat group, someone suggested ducks
to control slugs. By the time the conversation had run its course, it was
revealed that many members swore by their slug-eating ducks. I don't
suppose slugs are much of a problem in a desert, though.
