Re: Any experiences with chipper/shredders?

I have an 8HP Troybilt "Tomahawk" chipper that eats anything I feed it.
But they cost over $1000 new. I borrowed this one three years ago and
then last year paid the owner $750 for it. It starts fairly easy, at
least for this 42 year old adult male, and is somewhat awkward to move.
If you use a chipper be sure to have eye, ear and vibration protection.
(I use two pairs of gloves to help with the vibration -- the outer pair
being welder's gloves. Also, always hold onto the smaller parts of
branches and feed in the larger end.)
