Dear Friends, 
I am new to the list and have never gardened before this summer in 
Oklahoma .....I hope to be more successful next year....things other 
than zucchini, other squash, tomatoes, and melons seem to be the only 
things that have grown this year.  I am going to try to grow some crops 
of green beans and other legumes along with okra before growing season 
is completely over.
I hope that my experiences this summer teach me the lessons I need to 
have! I am in zone 7 and the summer here as reached 105 degrees 
farenheight.  It is amazing even with me determined watering that 
anything has survived the heat at all! 
Hope to do better with the garden every year....the gardening in 
Ontario, Canada was more familar.  But soon I will be familar with this 
clime and soil.:)
